Main St. Bridgeport, WV 26330 A message from the Director of Finance: Welcome to the Finance department where customer satisfaction is our goal. At the current time the Finance department is comprised of eight (8) employees who are responsible for overseeing and controlling the line-item budgets for all of the city funds. In addition, we are responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and purchasing through the purchase order system. There are 4,000 water and sewer customers billed on a monthly basis and approximately 1,200 businesses which receive licenses and pay taxes. As you browse through our department's listings, you will see that we have information regarding business licenses, registrations, solicitor's licenses, tax and license regulations, listings of property taxes, utility rate schedules, budgets and procedures to sign up for various city services. Hopefully this website will make it easier for you to obtain any information that you may need to do business with the city. In the future we hope to upgrade our site to make it even more user friendly with the ability to pay bills on line.
